We’re still playing this for our upcoming review but sixteen hours in and I’m happy to say this Marvel card based RPG game from the makers of turn strategy game Xcom is blowing away my initial begrudging expectations of it. This game dives into the supernatural side of the Marvel universe as an homage to the mid-90s storyline Rise Of The Midnight Sons, though its aesthetics have more in common with the recent mega comics event Fear Itself. Having released on December 2, 2023, the game is probably not in as many hands as it should be with some people having to hold off in order to buy Christmas gifts, so it’s a perfect time to surprise the Marvel gamer in your life. Marvel Midnight Suns is also available on Xbox Series X/S and PC but its potential shines on the PlayStation 5.

The Last Of US Part II Pint Glass Set

With the upcoming HBO adaptation of Naughty Dog’s landmark The Last Of US game, what better time to remind your moderately priced loved ones that the game they love will be open to millions more. High scores and unlocking new features gives this game hours of fun to be had with family. If you miss the days of the home arena supergroups with plastic instruments Taiko No Tatsujin will scratch the itch. It’s available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch with an available drum accessory edition.

Whether on flights, car rides, or even just hanging out on a lunch break the Nintendo Switch’s portability can be a gift and a curse. As the carpals can begin to tunnel, several third-party accessory companies have strived to make the Switch handheld mode a little more comfortable on the thumbs and forearms.
